Dear Parents,
As an English teacher, it is my goal to help empower your children
to think critically about the world they live in and to recognize
and use learning strategies that will help them achieve in
life. Throughout
the courseof the year, students have been learning new
reading and writing skills and are continuously practicing those
skills in accordance with the state and district grade level
expectations.
In accomplishing these goals, I am grateful
for your help at home in promoting good study habits.
Together, the most
important thing we can do for your children is keep them
reading!
Please feel free to contact me by e-mail or phone as questions
or concerns arise.
Thank your for your support.

DREAMS
Hold fast to dreams
For if dreams die
Life is a broken-winged bird
That cannot fly.
Hold fast to dreams
For when dreams go
Life is a barren field
Frozen with snow.
