Make a list of questions to ask Veterans tomorrow

Review  how to write a dialog in a short story.
Work on Characterization of main character. For the short story, you will need to analyze the elements of a short story. After writing your own 1-2 page short story, you will create a sequential diagram illustrating the elements of plot: exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution. The story itself is worth 20 points. I will be grading on organization only.  The second part is a diagram illustrating and explaining the elements of your own short story including  the above, That will be an additional 15 points. Due next Wednesday.

2 page essay due on Monday about Veterans Day. You will be graded on organization only. Include what you learned about being a veteran, do you think you would ever want to serve in the military?, What is the history of Veteran's Day?

What is a primary source? 
Reading project due October 14th. 
On posterboard given out in class either make a collage of pictures that represent the book you are reading and explain the details on the back of the poster or Divide poster into 6 sections. Draw pictures and write captions of one scene from the book. All reports will be given orally.
