Quizzes will happen once or twice during a unit. If a student does poorly on a quiz, they may rewrite the problems that they missed and receive half credit for those problems. Project guidelines will be established with student input as each project arises.
Final Exam = (Geometry Only 10%) The final exams will happen once per trimester and cover the material from the entire year, up to that point.
Extra Credit Extra credit opportunities will happen at least once per trimester. Any extra credit given during the year will be allotted points as it is assigned. Extra credit will always be above and beyond the normal curriculum. Supplies Please make sure that your student has the supplies listed in the student planner. We have a class set of graphing calculators that we will use throughout the year. In high school, students may need a graphing calculator of their own, for now a scientific calculator is sufficient.
