This is my 10th year as a teacher, 2nd at Brier Terrace. Before teaching I
worked in the lumber industry for sixteen years. My hometown is Wellesley,
Massachusetts - a small town just outside of Boston. I have a wife, two
sons, two dogs and three cats.
I lived in Seattle from 1991 to 1994 then back to Boston. We moved back to
Seattle in 2002 and love it here. When I am not teaching or preparing to teach,
I like to work on the house, garden, bike ride, camp and play ice hockey.
It is my goal that all students who pass through my class learn to think and
problem solve. The foundation of a life long learner is someone who has the
ability to think for themselves. With this skill, any problem, topic,
class, or goal is attainable.
