the Page:
This page is
meant to direct you to information about school events,
time-lines, college exams and financial aid, among other
things. You can get all that information and more at our

It is a good idea to check this page and the calendar as it will be
updated throughout the year.
If you have
specific questions or need to speak to me directly, please feel
free to stop by the office and make an appointment with me
through Ms. Tanner, the counseling secretary, before or after
school, during passing periods or lunch. I look forward to
helping in any way I can.
A little about
me:
I believe I
have the best job in the world! My job is
to advocate for students at Lynnwood High School. This
position allows me to work with students and help them develop
their unique talents. I have worked in education for over 30
years. In addition to counseling, I have taught in general and
special education settings. During this time I have had the
opportunity to work in a variety of positions, including ten years
at Scriber Lake Alternative High School. I believe that
experience strengthened my ability to work effectively with
adolescents and their families.
I am a native
of Edmonds and a graduate of Edmonds School District. I earned
my Bachelor of Science degree from Washington State University (GO
COUGS!), completed Special Education post-graduate work at the
University of Washington and Seattle Pacific University, and earned
my Master’s in counseling from City University. I have
been married for 35 years and have two grown children and one
grandchild.
