Dear
Parents and Students,
Things
are happening fast and furiously at this time of year. Here is a list of what you should
be aware:
1.
Wreath sales continue this
week. Orders are due
on Monday, Nov. 23.
Remember that this is the only fundraiser for Outdoor
School
2.
Canned and boxed goods are being collected this week for
our local food drive
3.
3-Dimensional brain models are due on Monday, November
23, 2009
4.
We are starting on our first big writing
project: A Brain
Thesis. So far
the children have made an outline, taken notes on 3x5” cards
and are now writing paragraphs. This will all be word processed
here at school.
5.
Spelling, read and respond, and math are nightly homework
assignments
6.
We are going to experience the
Science Adventure Lab from Seattle children’s hospital
on Thursday morning.
Each
child must have a permission slip to enter the
lab. I sent
these official forms home last week.
7.
Please check your child’s binder at least once a
week to see that all paperwork is compled
8.
Thanksgiving holiday November 26&27.
Be safe
out there on these wet and windy days.
