Grading

Our program is designed to help each individual find success with students being graded on participation, improvement, skill development and performance. Participation and eagerness to work hard rather than athletic ability will be the criteria for grading. It is our goal to provide students with a wide range of activities with the hope that each student will find some type of physical activity they enjoy. Through these activities students will learn not only about fitness but personal responsibility, Sportsmanship, problem solving, mental toughness and hopefully will have a lot of fun in the process.

Obtaining an A in Health and Fitness requires:
1st Semester: Completing a written assignment (information will be given the first week of October).
2nd Semester: Passing the Classroom Based Assessment, the Fitness and Health CBA’s rotate yearly and more information given the beginning of the 2nd Semester.
