Welcome to Meadowdale Middle’s seventh grade World History
Class! World History is an in-depth look at our world
today and the historical forces that continue to shape and
influence it. We accomplish this by studying the five themes
of Geography; place, location, human/environmental interaction,
region, and movement. We then integrate these themes throughout our
study of the ancient civilizations of Mesoamerica, the Arabian
Peninsula, Central Africa Kingdoms, Feudal Japan and Europe. These
units of study are all centered on the state’s essential
learning's, district frameworks, and the integration of other core
subject matter. We are dedicated to providing your student a
rigorous and relevant curriculum so they can have a well-rounded
experience here at Meadowdale Middle. We look forward to an
exciting year filled with new adventures an educational growth.
Let me tell you a little about myself. This is my 12th year
teaching at Meadowdale Middle school, where I'm the co-head of the
social studies department. In addition to teaching, I also have the
pleasure of coaching our football, boy's basketball and girl's
basketball teams. I love this school this district and above all
this community. Thank you for visiting my site, and feel free to
contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
Kids and teaching are my passion!

The illiterate of the 21st century will not be
those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn,
unlearn, and relearn.
