WELCOME!
This is the web home of Mrs. Moline's 5/6 class at Terrace Park School. We are located in Mountlake Terrace, Washington, about 15 miles north of Seattle in the great Pacific Northwest. We are in the Edmonds School District in the Challenge/Highly Capable Program . We have other sites we would like to invite you to. This one is an archive of former web pages, and the player below will take you to our class podcasts. You can see exemplary student work and the podcasts below and also here. (In case you're wondering: there are reasons they are not all at the same place, and one of them is that we try to keep your fingers nimble!). To help you navigate through the rest of the site, here's a road map. Links are used for study in school via the Classroom Launcher and Current Assignments sections of that page, along with other sites our students and teachers have found helpful. The Documents page serves as a link to documents needed for their studies. You will enjoy reading our Discussion Board, where students reflect their good thinking in well-stated responses. Announcements are...well, just that! On the Homework page, students and parents will find rubrics, expectations, and details of more complex assignments, Students are expected, however, to keep track of homework and due dates in their Student Planners. Finally, there is a calendar of Events in which students are involved.
This year, our class was the recipient of a grant of Student Tech
Tools, funded by the 2004 Technology Levy. We now have 7 new
laptops, a digital camera, and other classroom technology to help
us learn and show what we know. We are a classroom of the 21st
century!
