Everything is a matter of perspective.

MS. HALL:

Here's some information about me.  If you'd like to contact me: hallm@edmonds.wednet.edu or phone and leave a message: 425-431-3699. This will ring in the room so please call only for very important matters during class time.  Thank you.

This is a portrait of me done by Elliot Harrison, when he was in the 3rd grade.  Here are some of the things about me:  I love to quilt. I made this one last year and it hangs in my living room.  Other interests:  rocks, reading, boating, walking, and gardening. I'm always interested in new science "stuff" for class.

To that end I'm a real rock hound. I have rocks everywhere, my house and at school.

I take vacations to see rocks.  This is a mountain of obsidian rocks near Bend, Oregon.
It's very interesting, as there's a designated walkway up to the top, with informational
signs along the way. The geology around Bend is fascinating and could easily take several days to see!

I help organize our After School Program here at Terrace Park.  We invite teachers and parents to teach a class that shares your passion.  We have cooking, volleyball, cross-country running, art, and a variety of other classes, photography, gardening, and other kinds of art.We also partner with Washington Aliance for Better School who help us bring Boeing Engineers into our program.  They bring classes in math and science that are very popular.   I'm always looking for teachers.  Please contact me if you are interested.  We run two programs each year: fall and spring for 6 weeks each, Mondays and Tuesdays right after school from 3:30-4:45. My contact info is at the top of this page.

My I have a passion is for science.  We have a science fair at Terrace Park and if you would like to be a scientist or volunteer and help us, please contact me using the email address above.  Here's a picture from the first year.
